Dellwood is a venerable, historic
community northeast of St. Paul
on the shore of White Bear Lake.
Recreation and leisure activities on the
lake and a century of traditional architecture
define the local culture. Nestled
between a hill and the shore of the lake,
surrounded by mature oak trees, this new
residence is inseparable from its site and
context. The home merges with the land
and water, engendering a resort quality
of indoor and outdoor spatial integration
and activities.
