This lake home is based on a philosophy
of composition, individual
forms, and materials orchestrated
in simple horizontal and vertical planes.
Each form seamlessly flowing from
the interior to the exterior is of natural
material—copper, wood, stone, and plaster.
Upon entering the 7,000-square-foot
home, you feel as though you are floating
above the water. Looking through the great
room, the main level opens to a soaring
deck. The great room’s openness is
balanced by smaller, more intimate
spaces. A raised study connected to the
great room by a see-through fireplace
creates a place for the family to work.
