Contractor: Mike Otto Construction
This 1920s home has been transformed
from an unremarkable foursquare
into a stunning, well-crafted
expression of transitional architecture. The
bones of the home have been maintained,
but the front, back, and side additions
bring a decidedly fresh and Asian-influenced
design palette to the character of
the architecture. Inside, the floor plan has
been opened to create free-flowing spaces
filled with natural daylight. A new addition
with kitchen, family room, and mudroom
on the first floor, and master bedroom
suite above, allowed the family to stay in
the house and neighborhood they love.
